In My opinion their are two all-star centers in the league right now(3 ifYao is healthy), Howard and Duncan(yes, he's a center).
If Okur is an all-star what is Deron? I consider him a superstar despite not making an all-star game and it will be tough for him to make it again this year.
You want to put Okur in with the greats fine. I'll keep him up their with the greats from Asia Minor though.

What happens if we somehow luck into the No. 1 pick? Do you take John Wall despite having Deron Williams? I say you still do and either try a 2-PG system (Wall can flat out score anyway and the Jazz seem to thrive under 2-PG's) or at least you have a major trading asset in either Wall or Williams (depending on who you wanna keep). But I think it'd be stupid to pass on Wall. I'd be afraid to repeat the Blazers' fiasco - passing on Jordan cuz they already had Drexler...

You don't pass on stars. They took a pg this year despite much bigger needs elsewhere. Deron will likely be gone in 3 years anyway. He's not going to stick around for a franchise that isn't committed to winning big.

If Bowie stays healthy it wouldn't have been such a fiasco. Blazers might have won multiple titles with a healthy Bowie instead of Duckworth.
