Bust: Tim Thomas' resurgence with the Suns and fine showing in the 2006 playoffs are sure to make him overvalued. Thomas showed he still can score in bunches and knock down the 3, but he won't help in any other categories -- and his playing time will fluctuate.

Interesting from the same ESPN review....

Bench: With Corey Maggette, Livingston and Tim Thomas, they have points, skills, versatility and not nearly enough minutes.

From the same ESPN Preview, and this:

Quote:
Bust: Vladimir Radmanovic is a tough player to own. At the end of the season, he'll have more than 100 3-pointers, but little else. He'll tease you with a five-game stretch of consistent production, then follow that up with a week off. He's been on teams with other high-quality offensive options before, so why will this stop be any different?

that still does not change my comments and thoughts about TT.

Lightbulb Good to see the team underrated by the media

This helped last year. Hollinger doesnt know our talent well.
Kaveman will sign next week and the only hold up to the deal
is an extension to Dunleavy. Dunleavy has said this team
uses its D to win. Last year's team was solid defensively
as a team and that led to Ws. The basketball IQ of this
team is higher than the media thinks. Basically we have
our team intact and ready for a run at the Division title
and a deep run in the playoffs. Dun and Elder have assembled
a good mix of youth and veterans..plus our most talented
players Elton Brand and Corey Maggette are entering their
prime while KAveman and Livingstick are coming of age.

Red face The Jr High Phenom Yarik not to be resigned

The Y2K experiment failed and Yarik will be a restricted FA next year.
Again the critics of this pick including this poster think the Clips
should have picked Danny Granger and we were right.
However, I dont think it was wasted pick at #12 unlike the
Olowokandi #1 pick in which Elder passed on Mike Bibby.
The gamble was worth it at #12 that Yarik would turn into decent
player.

Kandi and Kwame Brown remain the worst #1 picks in recent
history. This just shows that great players like
Baylor and MJ dont make great GMs.

i expect the clippers to blow up this year; it wouldnt surprise me if they won the western conference

livingston will flourish under the direction of cassell. as pt for sam decreases; shauns pt will increase as it ought and he is maturing into the star he was destined to be

i agree that tt is a better fit than rad-one-dimension-ovich

now that kaman is set; things in the locker room should be peachy

maggette healthy; ross one year more experienced; brand continuing to be dependable for 20/10

i am excited to see then play

Thumbs up Agree

The Poet sees in the Clippers what I see in the Sonics. Teams
that are underrated by the media.
