Default Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson has suffered a season-ending knee injury

Indianapolis Star reports:

For the second time in 12 months, Indianapolis Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson has suffered a season-ending knee injury during practice.

ESPN.com is reporting Jackson suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in one his knees during Wednesday afternoon’s practice.

Too bad. He was one of my favorite players at Michigan. It seems his professional career has been plagued with injury, though. He has only played 11 games in the last two years.

Crap. He'd been banged up all year and now this. He's a FA at the end of the year, so maybe it helps him stay in Indy's price range. Plus Anthony Gonzalez getting a second opinion from James Andrews sounds scary. I'm pretty tired of the depth being tested.

Terrible news. He is probably the best slot receiver in the league. I was anxious to see his new role in the offense now that Marvin is gone.

I watched him play all through high school at St. Ignatius. He's always been a beast. Hopefully, his season isn't over.
