wow didnt know theres a thread bout this. big big cowboyz fan here. cant wait for sunday against the cats. our season is on the line. glad we're not rollin with bledsoe, in romo we trust we now.
i agree on bledsoe messing this up as well. this is his last chance..they have to turn this around.
This has got to be the absolute worst two days in sports history being a Dallas fan. Mavericks get blown out by a state and conference opponent. Then the Mavericks lose by a last second field goal on a bs penalty to one of our most hated rivals. Sucks.
Overall I thought the Cowboys played a pretty good game. Not great because we gave up too many big plays. TO's a f#@kin numbskull. I too thought the td celebration at the time was funny. The apparent td catch was not. Somehow I KNEW that that drop was gonna come back to bite us in the @$$. That's how those back breakers work. Either they break the opponent's spirits, or the other team capitalizes on it. Well 22-19 proves my point. A disheartening loss. Hope the media castrates TO this week. Guy needs to wake up and realize he is not King Kong. I'm King Kong.
The one bright spot leaving the game is that Romo looked fantastic. If not for the penalties, we'd have won this game, and they'd be crowning Romo the heir apparent to Troy Aikman. Rolling with Romo is my new theme.

Three weeks later...look how far we've come! Dallas has gone on a three-game winning streak that should = playoffs if they take care of their business at home. This upcoming game against the Giants will be for the NFC East. The money stretch of the season starts now. Dallas was 7-3 last season and finished 2-4 to miss the playoffs. Can they do things differently this time? The Giants will be tough. If Strahan and Umenyiora are back, they will be a completely different team.
The kicking game is a big concern. With the pressure of a playoff chase coming up, Vanderjagt can't be trusted.
Romo is playing great but you have to wonder...how much longer can he keep on playing like this? All QBs are due for a bad outing, a 3-INT game, eventually. It happens to Brady, Manning, Mcnabb, etc. It's going to come down the road for Romo, no matter how good he is playing right now so keep that in mind. And I don't count that half he played against the Giants.
Parcells has been limiting Julius Jones the past few games to rest him for the stretch run and also, because Marion Barber is just more suited to finish games with his physical style. Dallas needs Julius to come out running to start the game because the running game has gotten off to slow starts in back-to-back weeks now.
8-4!!! The Saints and the Falcons should be our final toughest games of the season. The Saints will be tough. They're the team of destiny this year after Hurricane Katrina and it will be a matchup of Brees and Romo, two QBs playing great football. Reggie Bush finally had his big game today. Marques Colston could be back...the Saints definitely have a ton of weapons on offense. Dallas D has to step it up because the Giants were driving on them easily today.
We gotta take that Saints game. We need to get a bye the first week of the playoffs so the road to the SB would be easier. Too bad Seattle won; if we can beat NO next week..would give us a pretty good lead
Seattle has an easy schedule from here on out. With Arizona, San Fransisco and Tampa Bay being easy wins, the only game I see them losing is to San Diego. That would leave them at 11-5 and more then likely a better conference record then us.
Esentially we HAVE to beat the Saints this week and basically win out if we want a first round bye.
If we can get by NO and Atl, then I don't see Phily or Detriot giving us any problems.
The Saints are a completely different team than the one the Boys ran over at will during the preseason. Since then, it looks like the Saints have addressed their running woes. Showed me alot when the Saints held the most potent running offense at the time Falcons to their season low.
Still think we can take this game. Our backs can run with their receivers, and Bush? Like the Raven defense the Cowboys defenders are keyed at the chance of taking this kid's head off, especially after his outrageous showing last week. Cowboys 30, Saints 21-23.
The Cowboys got out-classed by the Saints. Bill Parcells officially shows why he is overrated as a coach. Too bad the national media loves him so much. Parcells gets big praise for making the decision to bring in Romo for Bledsoe and Gramatica for Vanderjagt but we rarely hear the media get on him for his poor decisions. If Dallas collapses during the stretch run again, like they have in 2005 and 2003, Parcells definitely has to go for sure. It is 11-5 or bust for Dallas. No other options.
The game Saturday is a must win IMO. Eagles and Giants look like they're getting it together and the winner of that game is gonna be 8-6 and either a game behind or tied with us. Both hold a tiebreaker edge over us, so we're going to have to finish ahead of them.
Parcells better be prepared for this game, cause it isn't looking good right now.
Funny how things can change from week to week in the NFL.
they cant get a pass rush going and RoWill gets exposed in coverage fora at least 2 or 3 big plays every week.
play calling was weak again. come on Big Bill! you are playing against a prolific offense! why did you move away from the run so fast especially after it was working so well early on! you cant beat the Saints if you let their O on the field all day!
