So a little over five months from being 30 isn't "nearing" that age?

The **** are you on? You drunk? Did you pass grade six? Or did the teachers put you ahead? Or do you park in the handi-cap parking spot due to being brain dead?

Hey, if I was 39 and my birthday was in April... and my friend said I was nearing 40, I would flip! He's Just saying that! It's not true! Enough with that!

*shakes head*

You really think when he's 35 he'll "only" be 28 or something because he started late? The body doesn't give a **** how late you started - when you're almost 30, you're not ****ing young as hell as you put it.

Ok now you are just being stupid.

Of COURSE actual game time matters in your maturation as a QB.

You truly are a homer/retard if you think Romo is a more desirable QB around this league compared to CP.

The football gods are laughing at you.

Yes, Farve did it... yes Warner did it... yes Brady did it... Romo... HELL NO.

Case closed.

Carson Palmer is "bread and trained" to be a SB QB.

And now, he is completely healthy.

There is really nothing he can't do. A few QB's may still be better, but he does what we specifically need him to do. He is a natural born leader.

This is really enjoyable for us, and the other real, hardcore Bengals fans. We are used to being like the Browns/Raiders/Lions of the world.

I f ucking LOVE Sunday's. I'd be watching regardless of their record, but this team is putting a fantastic product on the field.

I am not so sure about the Larry Johnson signing. I think he's an @sshole, but he can help fill out the depth chart, I suppose. At the rate we signed him for, if he gives us any problems, we can just get rid of him.

I'd take Aaron Rodgers before I'd take Tony Romo and I'm not just saying because of last night.

LoJ...could you please explain how Palmer is playing better then Romo THIS YEAR without quoting and misspelling "bred"...

Brady, Warner, Peyton have NOTHING to do with Palmer vs. Romo...

has Palmer proved anything AFTER his surgery?...nope

is Romo outplaying him in every facit of the game?...yep

Palmer is awesome, and will get more love thna anyone with a star for natural reasons, but there is no reason to think he is outplaying Romo...

both at one time were viewed as "elites"...both fell off from being viewed that way and are trying to get back on...

Cincy (THE TEAM) beat Pitt yesterday, and Palmer didn't score a single TD...and he only went 18 for 30 with only 178 yards...that is not impressive at all...just sayin

Because he passes the look test with flying colors. I loved his game since his Cal days, he was the last legit QB to play for Tedford.

Anyway while I think Antonio is a very good QB, why I favor Rodgers more comes down to the physical. Bigger arm, better legs, I think their accuracy about the same though. A-Rod needs to stop taking sacks though. The upside is greater for A-Rod than Antonio to me.

Primes right, Romo is playing better than Palmer this year.

If Romo can be dependable in big time situations, he has every right to be in the top 6 quarterback discussion, and if he starts to consistently play lights out in big games, he has every right to be regarded as one of the very best quarterbacks in the league.

Nobody questions his skills. He can do anything that Palmer, or any other quarterback can do - it's his lackluster play in timely situations that hurt his status, and rightfully so.

HisJoeNess,

I love Rodgers. I think he's THE best young (25 and under) quarterback in the league bar none. He has a very good chance to be regarded as the best quarterback in the league down the road, or in the "elite" category much like Manning & Brady are in now.
