For years, I hated this game, it's always overhyped and the only thing talked about all week, but I hate it mostly b/c I hated both teams with a passion. I've always hated NE. I hated Indy after that embarassing comeback win they put up against my Bucs on MNF after we won the Super Bowl. It took me forever to forget about that. But I've come to realize how special a player Peyton Manning is and how we all are probably watching the best QB ever play right before our eyes.
With that said, I hope the Colts win and they go on to the Super Bowl. But I really think the Pats will win. Indy's secondary is just too banged up and the Pats look pretty good, even on the defensive side of the ball.
I don't normally predict scores, but what the heck:
NE 38-Indy 34
peyton manning is cementing himself as the greatest quarterback ever this year.
Only reason I'll watch. I HATE both teams, but Peyton is an all-time great and you don't pass up opportunities to watch an all-time great. I used to hate him, but now I respect and realize how special he is. Since my team has NO shot at anything this year, I'll be pulling for the Colts (or Texans ) to win the SB.
Don't you mean this week's MNF game????? I can't wait for that gem
Props to your Pacers for beating Boston the other night. Granger is my favorite non-Celtics player.
Thanks. It's the run'n'gun 3 point chucking style. When the shots're falling it makes it possible to beat the big guns. Sort of masks the fact the team really isn't all that good. On the right track though.
