Default Josh Smith to UCLA

6'10 270 2010 center Josh Smith has signed with UCLA. Probably the best true center in the 2010 high school class. Was the top prospect on many lists for a long time, but has been over taken by some elite prospects. JS needs to lose some weight quick if he wants to be a one'n'done, but he will dominate the PAC-10 and will almost certainly not last more than two seasons before making the jump to the NBA. Could propel UCLA back to contender status sooner than expected.

Here is a video that unwarrantedly hypes him up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V53Uz...eature=related

Also, Shawn Kemp Jr. has signed with Auburn after decommiting from Alabama and taking an extra year of prep school due to academic problems.

Different Josh Smith.

Also, the one who plays for the Hawks never went to college.

Must say, UCLA is going to be back into contender status sooner than I thought. They could have a huge lineup with all the forwards and bigs they are bringing in. Plus they don't have many guys who are like 100% bolting for the NBA after this season, except maybe Malcolm Lee.

So potential 2010-11 lineup with no seniors included:

Josh Smith/J'Mison Morgan/Anthony Stover
Drew Gordon/Brendan Lane
Reeves Nelson/Mike Moser
Tyler Honeycutt/Tyler Lamb
Malcolm Lee/Jerime Anderson

That is a huge lineup.
If Lee stays and they land Ray McCallum or Trey Zeigler, they will probably win a National Title, they would just be ridiculously stacked.

McCallum is going to Detroit, he took his Official Visits elsewhere to see what he would be missing out on. Detroit has a chance to become a mid major power with Ray McCallum Sr as the coach.

Zeigler is all MSU.

UCLA is stacked no matter what, and you left out Jerime Anderson who'd probably be starting at SG.

You actually think McCallum will go to Detroit? I think you're wrong. Unless he thinks his dad will lose his job if he doesn't go there.

Zeigler to MSU would be tight.

He's said in articles that he feels him going to Detroit will pave the way for Detroit kids to stay home and play for the Detroit Titans.
