At the very least, this puts them with the group of teams fighting for the 8th spot. The Bobcats needed another shot creator, and now they have two guys on the perimeter who can get 15-20 pts a game. They will still need either Augustin or Felton to step up at point and run this team, since there still is no true #1 option. And with the way they play defense, this might be enough to put them ahead of the 76ers and Pistons.

Seems like a one step forward, two step back trade to me. Even if the Bobcats make the playoffs, they are nowhere near the elite teams. Now they have a veteran team with a lot of money going forward, and most likely (given MJ's draft record) won't be getting any more difference makers in the draft.
