No. You have the commish desparately changing rules to benefit certain type of players, rigging the league to favor certain teams, criminals roaming the league (******, etc), dishonest refs.

I say this is the dark ages.

It is going to be a long time before we have anything like the 90s. I mean it was the age of Air Jordan. And just look at some of the names:

Michael Jordan
Shaquille O'Neal
Hakeem Olajuwon
Scottie Pippen
John Stockton
Karl Malone
Alonzo Mourning
Charles Barkley
Reggie Miller
Dennis Rodman
Dikembe Mutombo
David Robinson
Grant Hill
Patrick Ewing
Dominique Wilkins
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Isaiah Thomas
Clyde Drexler
Kevin Johnson
Shawn Kemp
BJ Armstrong
Karl Malone

The rivalries of the Knicks v Bulls, Pacers v Bulls, and Pacers v Knicks was something I would look forward to every year.

Nah, the early part of the era was pretty ugly, with basically 3 or 4 good teams, LA, San Antonio, Sacramento, Portland/Dallas. Every east team was horrible until about 2003 in which the Nets were pretty good, but all other east teams terrible.
