Default Is Lebron pretty much Dominique Wilkins but with better passing?

When I watch Lebron it appears he is just a better version of Dominique that actually is a playmaker. Nique was simply a scorer and rebounder, while Lebron actually passes as well.

LeBron can score just as many points, passes the ball even better, and actually plays defense. Not only that, but LeBron actually makes his teammates better. The only person Dominique made better was himself.

lebron is much better. i dont know how u can consider dominque, while a very good player and robbed out of the top 50 players list by the NBA in 1997, a comparison to lebron now. james is really a much better player than wilkins.

Doc and Kevin Willis made their only All-Star appearances as Hawks.

I think he's more like Scotty Pippen in Shawn Kemp's body, without Pippen's jumpshot

LeBron is Elgin Baylor in the 2000s.

Oscar Robertson-Jordan-Karl Malone hybrid which make him look a bit like Magic and Charles at some stages. But his Game Style is more Big 0 at Floor Game (without the Jump Shot), as a Driver-Penetrator-Slasher-Leaper (Jordan)-Malone as Finisher-Power Dunker

Default Re: Is Lebron pretty much Dominique Wilkins but with better passing?

Dominique and LBJ have the same thing in common - Dominique had some good players around him, but no one of superstar status. Doc and Willis were solid players, and were All-Stars, but they weren't superstars like Parrish and McHale or Worthy and Kareem or Pippen and Rodman.

LBJ has never played with an A-level player in his prime. He's had Z, who has been an All-Star, but he is clearly on the decline. Same with Shaq - dude needs to retire after this season, unless he wants to come to the Hawks on full MLE as a sixth man.

He doesn't necessarily have more range. LeBron takes way more 3s than Hill did and is also quite streaky. Grant knew better than to take low percentage shots and his mid range J was solid.

Lebron clearly has more range on his shot than Hill ever had. Look at Hills 3pt numbers for his career

Could Hill do this while taking a "normal" shot?

Hill was mostly a great mid range jump shooter and a slasher.
