Default NBA 09-10 season predictions/forecast

Carmelo Anthony will win MVP (regular season).

Chris Paul will rack up 12 assists per game (regular season).

Lakers will not win the Championships.

Dwight Howard will add a move to his limited arsenal, making him a threat in the paint and the occasional mid ranger. I hope it isn't a perfected version of his hook shot, but more along the lines of a Tim Duncan glass move.

Charles Barkely will do something potentially devastating during a broadcast.

Will Bynum will have a breakout season, amazing everyone with 19 ppg.

It's possible that Carmelo wins MVP. He's right up there with Kobe/Wade/Lebron but his name didn't get mentioned much until the playoffs, when he showed his best basketball.

I think the Lakers will win the Championship again. They are a clear cut above all the other teams. Andrew Bynum will have a breakout season. Him and Gasol will both be 20/10 bigs and defensive juggernauts.

The Big 4 in the West would be:

1.Lakers
2.Nuggets
3.Rockets (if healthy)
4.Spurs

In the East:
1.Magics
2.Celtics
3.Wizards
4.Cavs (unless they pull off some amazing deals in the offseason)

People are really overrating the Twolves amount of picks in this draft. Everyone takes them from garbage to a playoff team now

Alot of people will be dissapointed. I like the Twolves, but get real, kiddies.

Good things could happen for Washington, but this prediction is a little crazy after one trade. You have to remember...when Arenas, Jamison, and Butler were healthy, they never once had home court advantage or won a 1st round series. I think Flip will be a solid "constant" for them on the sideline and they can't help but improve, but to say they are Top 4 is a stretch.

I don't know, remember after new years when they went on that great streak? Then Jefferson got hurt right after and that's what killed them.

It was a nice run but the majority of those wins were against non-playoff teams. Take away guys who're actually known quantities (and solid ones) in Miller and Foye and replace em with rookies, no matter how good, they aren't going to all of a sudden win the 42+ games it'd take to make the playoffs. I realize Al Jeff got hurt, but people really think him being back and adding a bunch of rookies is going to give them 18 more wins? That's crazy talk.
