Peterson can do more with less, I thought it was proven last season when he has Tarvaris Jackson as his Qb and made the playoffs.

Missing a game here and there doesn't constitute being injury prone, imo. Yeah... This would be his second 16 game season, but he has 15 and 14 game seasons, as well. That means, in his six years in the league, he has played 14 or more games in four of those seasons (assuming that he continues his streak this year).

The two years that he didn't reach that mark were 12 game seasons... It isn't as though he only played half of the season.

I don't think that a rare missed game here and there over the course of his career is enough to knock his stock down as a RB, especially considering his workload. He is averaging 24.5 touches per game over the last five years... The most in the NFL over that span.

The Vikings have had one of the best offensive lines in the league for years. Peterson has never been on a team even remotely as bad as the Rams over the past few years or the Titans this year. We really don't know how good he would be on a team with a bad line.

AP is a great player, but attributing their playoff run last season solely to him is ridiculous.

hey I agree that Jackson is a stud and deserves to be in this conversation...

Peterson had no passing game to work with before this year, regardless of his line, he still constantly had to face 9 in the box...

but youre saying that peterson is better even this year, which is clearly false. chris johnson had a great rookie year with kerry collins @ qb and his team went 13-3. now in his sophomore year hes just raping the entire nfl, how the f*ck is he a one hit wonder?

that is not the dumbest post I have ever made...lol, I wish it was...if it was then that really would be saying something...

and I didn't mean a one hit wonder as in just one good year, I ment it in a Sean Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Larry Johnson type way...

I could be wrong though, that is just my gut feeling

I remember saying the Panthers should take CJ in the 2nd round in 2008 and people claimed I was just hyping him up because he went to my alma mater (ECU) and all Johnson had was speed. Now he's the most productive back in the league. He's not better than AP, but he's no worse than a top 3 back in the league.
