I remember saying the Panthers should take CJ in the 2nd round in 2008 and people claimed I was just hyping him up because he went to my alma mater (ECU) and all Johnson had was speed. Now he's the most productive back in the league. He's not better than AP, but he's no worse than a top 3 back in the league.
Agreed and I will freely admit that I'm surprised at how good he has become so quickly. The Top 4 backs are AP, SJax, Johnson and DeAngelo Williams.
and I didn't mean a one hit wonder as in just one good year, I ment it in a Sean Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Larry Johnson type way...
Yeah, Alexander was really a one hit wonder Prime. He had five consecutive years of 15+ touchdowns and in his worse year in that span he had 1600+ total yards.
That's not a one hit wonder in any way shape or form.

okay, his career was short and sweet...he will not be seeing the HOF
AD's career will be something that only comes around once a decade...legendary...
So Johnson is going to have five good years and then be done? What makes you think that? His size?
CJ really isn't that small...
I don't know how to explain it, like I said earlier, he just reminds me of what Deion Sanders would be like at RB...
Deion had few carries btw, one was a TD...he was dangerous with the ball no matter how he got it...but at RB you have to be able to take constant punishment...
CJ just doesn't come off as the type that can take taht kind of punishment to me for some reason...and it is just a gut feeling I have, he could go on to be the GOAT for all I know...
Peterson is the better pure runner but CJ is more complete then AP. CJ can catch out of the back field and stay in and blck 2 things AP does not do well.

CJ and AD's recieving this year is very similiar...
in AD's rookie year his recieving is pretty much the exact same as CJ's rookie year...
CJ isn't doing anything that special catching the ball...
Uhh I don't know about that. Maurice Jones Drew and Ray Rice deserve some serious consideration.
MJD certainly has a case to be alongside DeAngelo. Ray Rice? He is a good back, especially in the passing game, but I wouldn't take him over any of the other five that have been mentioned. That is my personal opinion. It is worth debating, for sure. There are a lot of good backs out there. Ronnie Brown was playing really well before his injury. Hell... Ced Benson was leading the league in rushing for a good portion of this season.
Rank your Top 10... I would go:
1. AP/SJax
2. SJax/AP
3. Chris Johnson
4. DeAngelo Williams
5. Maurice Jones-Drew
6. Ray Rice
7. Michael Turner
8. Thomas Jones
9. Ronnie Brown
10. Ricky Williams

I like what I've seen out of McCoy and it looks like Westbrook's career is winding down. Do you think this will be his last season in light of his concussions?
Look out for Beanie Wells, too. He has all of the tools to be a star in this league if he can stay healthy.

He only has one more year on his contract, so if he plays any longer it will only be for another year I'd believe. Sad to see really. But LeSean is really a Westbrook clone. The only difference is Westbrook always had that 5th gear he could kick it into, LeSean rarely gets out of 4th.
Shutting BW down for the rest of the year is what's best. If he can come back next year, meaning he's cleared by every doctor out there, then I'd say come back and actually be the change of speed back to McCoy instead of vice versa. I heard at one point that the 2nd concussion really wasn't a concussion but instead lingering effects/symptoms from the first one. Not sure that they can really prove that but it's not hard to believe for me. There was no actual hit that gave him that 2nd concussion. Not any that's found on tape or that the team has acknowledged anyway. Just came from nowhere.
Felix is averaging 6.9 ypc on 61 carries and he has been playing injured the entire year...
sware if that dude wasn't so injury prone he would be top 5...
If he gets more than eight carries in a game, there is a 95-percent chance that he is getting carried off on a stretcher. He is one of the most injury prone players I have ever seen.
I had him on my fantasy team earlier this year... It was maddening.
