Default Chris Johnson for MVP?

Say the Titans win at least 7 games this year, and Chris Johnson keeps up his nasty stats that he has been putting up on their 4 game win streak. Is he the MVP if he finishes around 320 carries for 2,000 yards with 13 TDs and 50 catches for 420 yards and 2 scores?

As good as he is, voters won't vote for players on non-playoff teams very often.... especially in a year when Peyton Manning is on pace to throw for over 5000 yards and 30 touchdowns, and Brees is up there... I think Favre would get more votes than Chris, too.

Long shot. But if Tenn can somehow make the playoffs (they'd have to win out and hope for some teams to falter) and CJ reaches the 2000 yd rushing mark, he'd have a damn good case for it.

Manning

On the Johnson thing, he's not gonna win it, but the Titans will win more than 7 games

Definitely a candidate for Offensive Player of the year, but not MVP. Him and Vince Young work so well together. They'd be dangerous in the postseason because of their ball control.

Despite their record, the Titans are better than 2/3 of the teams in the NFC.
