Why would he want to go to another **** team? Philly isn't built around him and he would be terrible there. His run in the NBA is over. He might latch on with someone but you can just forget about it. No one wants him. What's the sense of him going to a crap team and jacking up a bunch of shots every night? He needs a team to be built for him and at this stage in his career no one wants to do that. It's not like he practices much or is a good locker room guy. Coaches and GMs don't want him anywhere near young players.
AI isn't going to make it to a contender. Philly is probably among the more competetive teams he could get right now.
Even if he has options that are more competetive, going home to a fanbase that appreciates him would be a major bonus. Don't count that out. The man kissed the 76ers floor in his return as a Nugget (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNcY-xn65rU at 0:50).
Why would Iverson want to go to 5-11 76ers? I think it is obvious. At least he could retire without a bitter taste in his mouth.

Where are you getting this understanding from? If anything Holiday will get the axe as far as minutes are concerned when Lou comes back.
