My coach asked us that at the beggining of the season. And the truth is, im comfortable from just about anywhere out to the 3pt. line, and even a little farther. ButI guess My most reliable shot is the left elbow..
Anywhere along the baseline really from 2 feet to a few past three and I am money. Also in the post I can score on anyone. And my elbow jumper is cash.
For percentage of shots taken it is probably;
60%Around the rim (posting up, or finishing after a drive)
25%Midrange. (I love the midrange shot, I just don't get the opportunities to shoot it cause either I make it to the rim or pass to an open guy.)
15%Threes (I can shoot the three pretty darn good actually but there is no point really, I am tall so I can shoot over smaller guys and post em up, and if they are bigger I am usually quicker)
Phoenix, are you better at 1on1 or in a team game? And guys I may sound cocky up there but it is relative to competition. And basketball where I am from isn't as big in the states. I have no clue how I would match up with a U.S team, I have only played a couple kids from the states.
If I'm in rythm you will not stop my elbow jumper.
As you can tell by my name Tim Duncan is my favorite player and so even when I was little I started to learn the bank shot and so any shot from the wing all the way down to nearly the baseline I can go glass with too.
As for behind the three line I am most comfortable hitting the corner threes, idk why.
And my prefered lay up is the reverse, it protects my shot, and I have long strides so I can get around a defender and come up on the other side in two steps.
Either of the wings. I'm not a great shooter so my range only extends to half a foot outside the 3 line usually.
As for post moves, the up and under is the best ever.
