I think that Indy will probably end up sitting their starters. I think that Denver will beat them, but they will wrap up the home field the next week in Jacksonville. As for the Cincy game, it won't matter if their starters are resting or not. Being at home, and wanting it more, the Jets will find a way to win.

it's always good to see superbowl/championship teams crumble. they've enjoyed their time. let somebody else have some success too. but i really doubt they're done, they're a good team.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Four New England Patriots players, including receiver Randy Moss, were sent home from Gillette Stadium for being late for an 8 a.m. meeting Wednesday, the Providence Journal reported.

In addition to Moss, the other players were defensive end Derrick Burgess and linebackers Adalius Thomas and Gary Guyton, according to the report. The players were apparently delayed by weather conditions, and will reportedly not be able to participate in meetings or practice Wednesday.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick did not confirm the report.

"Anything that happens with discipline on the team will stay between me and the players," Belichick said Wednesday morning.

Our defense has gone from being good to below average..we are under performing big time and letting Chad Henne have big games on us and players like Devon Bess having career games..so frustrated right now..God do I miss Bruschi and Harrison.

You mean you miss Bruschi and Harrison circa 2005 because that's the last time they and the rest of their LBs and safeties were effective. They've been the achilles heel of their defensive unit for the past several years and getting by on name recognition alone.

Let me get this straight, a defensive player is late to practice, so you send him home in the middle of a four game losing streak where defense is the main culprit? Team policy can go to hell, Thomas needs to practice.

Not only the Patriots, but the Steelers are falling apart as well. We might see both teams, who have won six of the last 8 AFC Championships, out of the playoffs for the first time since 2000.
