Last Wednesday they squared off against Shaq Diesel and the anointed one, LeBron James, a team favored by many to compete for the title.
With an intense defense to go along with a bombardment of three point shots the Rockets held King James and the Cavaliers to one of their lowest point totals of the season.
Houston shot out to a 33-19 lead in the first quarter (only the third time the Cavaliers were down after the first period) and a 13 point one at the end of the first half. Even starting the first half as poorly as they did, the Rockets still managed to open up a 17 point lead in the third quarter. Adequate shooting and a tenacious defense helped the Rockets to a ten point win over the Central Division leading Cavaliers.
