It really isn't a toss up at all.

Rice is averaging a significantly more amount of yards per carry behind probably a worse line.... and Rice is having production at receiving that no other running back is close to (I don't think so anyway.)

Thomas has 100 more yards rushing on 66 more carries, whoop-de-do!

Rice is on pace to have 2100 yards total offense.... a season that puts him in elite category.

What's the argument for Jones?

my arguement is that I would rather have him running the ball...

the Jets have NO passing game and Jones gets 100 men in the box constantly...

I expect Rice to win, but Jones might be the most underrated runner there is...wish he got more pub

I tried hard to find a way to keep Trent Cole off...it was impossible...lol

Why would you rather have him running the ball? What gives you the impression he's better at it than Rice? Certainly not yards per carry. Certainly not yards after initial contact. Certainly not because Jones is faster than Rice.

What is it?

I'm too lazy to go through every position. The thing with Welker and Moss though, you've got to be kidding me if you think Moss has been better THIS year than Welker has for that team. Pro bowl is year to year performance, not about career numbers or talent/skill level. Welker's been better so far and if you watch them play and look at the numbers, you shouldn't disagree

BS...

Moss had more recieving yards until just last week and with his 9 TD catches, he still has been way better than Welker IMO...

And he's played in 2 more games. TDs don't outweigh everything else Welker's done better

Welker has easily been better this year and I've watched every Patriots game.

Welker is averaging over 100 yards a game to go along with an godly 10 receptions a game. He's having a TERRIFIC season.

He's leading the league in catches and is third in yards after missing two games, very impressive stuff.
