Without even looking at stats... I'm sure Romo is better than Schaub, Warner, Big ben, and Rodgers

You should of added Mcnabb to that list.

Romo is putting together a great year... possibly top 5.

Romo is putting up solid stats this year but he is NOT actually a better quarterback than any of the guys I listed. Romo relys on the big play too much. he still makes too many rookie type mistakes to be considered top 5 in my eyes. If you want to talk statistics, his QB rating for this season is lower than almost everybody i mentioned.

Romo has had 3 or 4 great games recently which have really shot his stats through the roof. Even in past seasons when Romo was considered a choker, Romo has always been a decent stats guy. This is not all about stats. Due to his chronic inconsistency he will have a few ****ty games that result in losses in the near future and all you Dallas homers will be forced to come back to earth.

edit; and you are right, I should have added Mcnabb

rookie mistakes?...he only has 7 ints dude...he has been amazingly mistake free this year...

please explain how he is worse than Matt Schaub?

Warner you will just use last year's Super Bowl, but he is playing better than Warner right now also...

Well do you want to talk about who has had better stats so far in the 2009 season or who is actually the superior player? Romo has been statistically better than Brady this year, do you think he is actually a better QB than Brady?

Schaub has better QB fundamentals than Romo (he makes better reads, better movement in the pocket, etc) . Schaub completes passes at a higher % than Romo. Throughout both of their careers, Schaub has turned over the football less often than Romo (yes I realize Romo has protected the ball well so far this season). Schaub picks up first downs more efficiently, and Schaub is not as reliant on the big play to get his yards.

Hell, if you want to talk about stats for this year, Schaub still has a slightly better QB rating than Romo.

He's a moron who could have drafted Desean Jackson and saved money/draft picks. You would now be lookin at a better recieving core than today.

We took Jenkins and Jones....

Those weren't bad picks.

especially Jenkins.

and the trade worked out because it helped us say goodbye to TO... remember when that guy was on your team?

It's the money we gave Roy... that just doesn't make sense.

How did Roy help you say goodbye to TO when Roy hasnt done much since dawning a Cowboy uniform? He's been a bust. You draft Desean and you easily replace TO while giving Miles Austin more action on the field then happening to "stumble" on a solid reciever like you did. Just admit the Cowboys were stupid in aquiring Roy Williams and it would have been nice to add one of the games electriying players in Desean.

You put Romo on the Cardinals this year and the team is a little better.

I am not talking about who has is having a better statistical season in 2009, I am simply listing who I think are better overall QB's than Romo.

I strongly disagree that Romo makes the Cardinals better. If it was not for Warner missing a game due to the concussion and his horrendous game against SF, his stats would be as good or better than Romo's for the season. Warner is also a proven post season performer. Also, Dont forget that Romo has one of the more effective rushing games in the NFL behind him, while the Cardinals have a terrible running game between Hightower and Wells turning over the ball every carry.

Big ben has been having a down season but he has still been trying to carry a defensive minded steelers team with his offensive ability (especially earlier in the season) and he has also proven himself with his past playoff performances.

Anyway, Romo has always been a good stats guy. Last season he was ranked 8th in QB rating, which is the same place he is ranked this year. Beating the saints on the road was a great start, but until he really proves that he can perform under pressure he will not be a top 5 qb in my eyes.
