Ownership won't like that at all. Good. This organization has pretty much ruined Cutler. He needs either a great coach or a football lobotomy. He's been the 2nd worst QB in the entire league this season. I would say that his sucking has been mostly his fault but I've seen too many ex-Bears moving on to success in other cities.
Chicago has no OL. The WRs fear no one. As a QB not having someone pass protecting you, nor getting open/making big plays? Its not a situation you want to be in. Cutler has faced that. BUT, he's also faced his own stupidity for throwing these stupid passes. Thinkin his strong arm will get thru 2-3 defensive players only to get picked off. I mean he has thrown passes that made you check his jersey to see if Grossman was behind center. And some in the redzone. Its like nothing has really changed since Denver. So while Chicago has thier problems on offense, and coaching even. Cutler is also to blame for his own mistakes.
That's a pretty well designed fan protest site btw
Donations jumped by $1,000 in the past day. It's going to be ugly on Monday Night.
And Cutler is not to blame for ALL of the Bears problems. The roster has been getting worse and worse for the past 3 years. The GM has been doing some Millen-esque work for the past few seasons now.(look up the Gaines Adams deal for a strong example of his 'work')
Even with a new front office/coaching staff the rebuild is going to take at least 3 years. That's why they need someone like Cowher and not another soft first-timer. Someone that's going to put a foot in the asses of the players, especially Cutler.

I agree that in all likelyhood Turner is gone after this season. Lovie is iffy depending if the owners are willing to eat $11M in this economic climate. My question would be who in their right mind would be willing to come in as an OC on what could possibly be a 1 year deal with a lame duck HC. If they could convince someone like a Holmgren or Shanahan to do it with the caveat that they would assume HC status then maybe, but what kind of turmoil would that create not only among the coaching staff but the players as well. I think if you are going to let Turner go at this point you also have to let Lovie go as well.

Very true. I think it's time for the Bears to let Lovie go. The way things have been going I really feel they need a fresh start with a new coach. No doubt in my mind that someone jumps on hiring Lovie if he gets canned. He's still a good coach.
The Bears have 2 big corners (a big asset nowadays) who are not being used correctly....They should be jamming the recievers all day and playing more man....Instead they sit back in zone with a pathetic pass rush, and let Qb's pick them apart. It's so hard to watch. Teams have figured out how to beat the so called "Tampa" 2. The Bears needs to get with the times. And no matter how much Lovie Gump wants to say we "get off the bus running." He needs to swallow his pride and admit they're not properly equipped to do so. Not to mention the defense isnt even good enough for them to run the ball, because they are constantly playing catch up!
I think when a good QB is going against a cover 2 D they lick their chops. Any good QB can pick it apart like nothing. Its like playing against a prevent D. If the only way to get an aggressive D scheme is to fire Lovie then so be it. But this D needs to go. Im sick of lite in the azz linemen getting blown up by any decent oline and out LB's dropping back and covering nothing. Lance Briggs is as good as any top LB in the league but a lot of his abilities are being wasted in this scheme.
