Default Top 5 WR this season

In my opinion it's been

1) A. Johnson
2) W.Welker
3) R. Wayne
4) V. Jackson
5) B. Marshall

IN ORDER

Who do you think were the top 5 this year?
You might also put top 5 overall if you'd like.

Seems accurate to me, only thing I might change would be Jackson behind Wayne. They're interchangeable though.

As good as Jackson's been he's been kind of inconsistent. He went from top 5 receiver the first few weeks to "where'd he go?" and now he's back to being really good. Fitz, Austin, DeSean, Moss, and Chad I'd throw in there ahead of him. Maybe Roddy White. The other 4 are locks in my opinion though.

A. Johnson-AJ is a stright up beast and there is not much more you need to add on to that as it describes him perfectly.

R. Wayne-Any time Peyton is looking for a first down you know the ball is coming to Wayne yet he can't be stopped; also he can even make 2 hand catches look beautiful.

B. Marshall-He catches everything thrown his way and actually made cutler look decent at times

L. Fitzgerald-I know he has had an off year but he is still in my top 5

S. Holmes-maybe it is a bit of a stretch despite his career year I can't say I'm a big time believe in Holmes as of yet.

Santonio Holmes is having a pretty quiet Pro Bowl type year. 78/1243, only 4 TDs though.

His TD numbers would be much better but Heath Miller and Hines Ward get basically all of the red zone looks.

Austin didn't even play much in his first four games, right? Yeah, he has produced big time in the 11 games he has played a lot in, but I'd rather take a full seasons worth of guys like:

Wayne
Moss
Marshall
Jackson
Johnson
Fitzgerald

Then you got a guy like Welker.

Miles isn't a top five reciever without question.

"this season" he is...

and yes, there are 5 other WRs I would take over him as well or consider to be more skilled than he is...

but his preformance THIS YEAR (thread title) is without question top 5, and if he hadn't missed the first 4 games, it would probably #1

Miles Austin is pretty much a clone of Terrell Owens in his prime...

Miles Austin is not an ERA defining wide reciever like a prime TO, sorry. That's just... wow. I'm going to leave it at that.
