Default Lakers: We have a problem...

The team just ain't working. Pau has too few touches, Bynum continues to sleep-walk 90% of the time, our bench contribution can't even be called contribution, they are just horrible, and fishers shot selection is killing us.

Kobe Bryant is the ONLY reason LA hasn't lost like 5-6 in a row, that, plus young teams making bad mistakes in the clutch.

You could say it's Artest absence but i feel it goes further.

I know its still early in the season but i don't feel like this team is beating any top 5 team in the league right now on a 7 game series.

Any fellow Lakers fan has the same feeling?

You forgot to add the refs. Can officials win 6th man of the year?

He's lazy and only plays offense.

I kinda feel the same way but we still have the best record in the league.

Our bench continues to be exploited on a daily basis, I dont feel like they will ever show up this season. Its gotten to the point where they play them with 3 of the starters to make sure we dont fall too behind.

I agree it's not just Artest being out. It's also Bynum and Odom being in a slump, but they are recovering and Odom played well today. Ammo and Vujacic are also playing too many minutes. And Fisher has been playing bad all around.

It's sad, but I think this has some truth to it. He helps distribute the ball with the bench and our starters.

Lakers should start Shannon Brown.

Fisher should come off the bench.

I was gonna say that too. He's a very smart player, and that gets overlooked often.

I dont think Shannon is the answer either, hes a good bench/role player, or at least hes developing into one.

Kobe is winning these games but playing crazy minutes doing it. Phil seems to be calling a few more timeouts to get he and Gasol some rest but 40mpg through December is unacceptable.

Just continuing to be a very inconsistent player is all. Once he starts putting up the numbers he is capable of on a nightly basis, then just watch out.

That is all that needs to be said and if the Lakers team isn't working, than no team in the entire league is considering they are a game up on the Cavs (I believe?)
