I think Brandan Wright from UNC is also worth mentioning depending on if the bulls are in the 5-10 pick range; imagine him and ty "nasty" thomas(T-N-T) playing alongside together in the post http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q249-Kk3Ub8
I agree if we cant get Greg Oden by getting the first pick i dont want anyone else. I think we should trade it.
If we do trade the pick, it probably would be for a big man who can score down low. But why would we trade the pick if we can get that kind of player, there's going to be a few players that will fit the teams need of a low post scorer. I say that we should only trade the pick if it's not in the top ten, that's probably not going to happen though.
I got some guys on the radar in case Greg passes us by and McRoberts is gone and Noah is possibly gone, which I hope he (ie: Oden) does not:
1: Glen Davis 6'-9", 285
2: Nick Fazekas 6'-11", 258
3: Roy Hibbert 7'-3", 287
4: Aleks Maric 7'-0", 255
5: Tyler Hansbrough, 6'-9", 245 (Depending on the year he has, he could go pro)
6: Martin Iti 7'-0", 260
You forgot to points out 7'0" 250 pound Spencer Hawes. On mock drafts I've seen him compared to Brad Miller and Andrew Bogut. Not bad if you ask me. Another guy I would consider is 7'1" 280 pound Aaron Gray. Whatever the team does with the pick I really hope they take it to their advantage and select a much needed big low post scorer. My favorites are definatley Oden, McRoberts, Hawes, and Gray. There will probably be some effective low post big men in the second round as well. Guys like Fazekas and Davis are likely to be early to mid second round picks. As of now I know we have the Knicks first round pick, the Celtics and Denver's second round pick from a trade. Also we have our own second round pick. Since the Bulls have three second rounders they should probably use the highest one, which in my oppinion will be the Celtics pick and make a deal with another team with the other picks. Maybe the Bulls will deal a player like Sweetney and one of the second round picks for a solid experienced player who can help us in some way. The Bulls will need to use their picks wisely by most likely selecting a big guy with at least two of the picks and maybe if they decide to use their third pick they can select a different kind of player. Right now the Bulls have all the pieces, outside shooting, good defense, athleticism and speed, but if they want to be a real contender they must add that low post presence. Next years draft might be their answer to getting to the next level of trying to win a seventh championship in the future.
