Good. Get him the hell out of SC.

I still to this day sting over what they did to my Sooners.

We've played some pretty good teams. I don't think we'll have a bowl losing streak like that again. Barring injuries like this year we should bounce back and win the Big 12 come next year and possibly make another run at a BCS title the following year.

I think you missinterpreted what I said as a slam against Pete when it was clearly a compliment. Bob is an out and out college coach while Pete clearly was eventually going to make another run at an NFL job.

I believe both schools have 1 BCS title while you guys also have an AP one. Show Bob a little respect. Your boy Pete leaves we'll see how SC does.

I'm just messing. OU has a great program and it seems like they're contenders year after year just like SC. Let's just hope we can bounce back next year and knock out those SEC teams.

Amen to that. I couldn't cheer for Texas, but there is nothing funnier than seeing an Ole Miss, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Miss St, etc fan crowing about the SEC being 6-0 in BSC title games. How does that help them in recruiting?

It's official Carroll is coaching Seattle next year. Only couple of contract details left to work out.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/r...five-year-deal

Isn't this guy supposed to be some legendary college coach? Seahawks returning back to playoffs.

He may be a legendary college coach, but he's the punchline in the NFL.

What does college success have to do with NFL? Nothing. Why did he end up in college anyway? Perhaps you should do your homework. And you've been saying Seattle returning to the playoffs quite some time. How often has it happened? Hold that thought.

It can be argued that Nick was a success at the NFL level. He left the Dolphins and took a more prestigious job. Arguably one of the 4 or 5 most prestigious coaching jobs in all of American sports.

Uh yes it is. Name 5 with more prestige. In no particular order the most prestigious coaching jobs in America are:
Kentucky Basketball
Dallas Cowboy Coach
Notre Dame Coach
Alabama Coach
Yankee Manager

For 'Bama, you're crazy, the '60s have been over for a long time. Notre Dame's coaching spot hasn't been that prestigious in quite some time. And, the Cowboys? Are you referring to the Mexican population or something? You got stuck with a coach who has never won a playoff game (hopefully that continues to be true). People haven't been beating down the door to coach at those places.

Kentucky over UNC? Slap yourself

And you wish Bama was top 5 prestigous coaching job in America. Southern bias.
