Default GT: Game 2 Clippers vs Nuggets 11/2

Los Angeles Clippers(0-1) vs Denver Nuggets(0-0)

WHEN: Thursday, November 1st at 7:30 PM PST, 10:30 PM EST
WHERE: Staples Center in Los Angeles, California
MEDIA: FSN Prime Ticket - TNT - ESPN AM 710

Clippers Projected Starters
| | | |
Shaun Livingston | Cuttino Mobley | Quinton Ross | | Elton Brand | Chris Kaman

Key Reserves
Sam Cassell | Tim Thomas | Corey Maggette

Nuggets Projected Starters
| | | |
Andre Miller | JR Smith | Carmelo Anthony | Kenyon Martin | Marcus Camby

Key Reserves
Earl Boykins | Nene | Linas Kleiza

Q's Quote:
"This will be the Nuggets opening game of the season, and it will be the Clippers 2nd coming off a back-to-back as they will play at Phoenix the night before. Fatigue might be an issue as the Suns play run n gun and if the Clippers are forced to run with them, expect some changes in the starting unit as Kaman coming back and starting along with Cassell and maybe Thomas being inserted into the starting unit. Nuggets might play a big Linas Kleiza(6'8) at the 2Guard, which might force Dunleavy to bring Mobley off the bench and start Maggette at the 2Guard. When Boykins checks in the game, I expect Cassell or Livingston to both just back him into the post and score like nothing. Once Nuggets see what they do and they bring the help, expect Livingston or Cassell to dish it off to the open man for a J."

Q's Prediction: Clippers Win 104-92
Q's Prediction Record: 0-1

If Camby plays like his young self the nuggs will win.

Because they added some fire power in JR smith.

Although that team seems to get better every year roster wise but they never win more than 50 games.

Well in that case

Clipps > Nuggs

Will Camby ever play like his young self? First he needs to avoid injury ;). Nuggets won't reach 50 imo this nor next year unless they get a 2guard that will fit(I don't think JR will but I don't follow the Nuggets so I really don't know).

As far as tonights game goes, Aaron Williams is out again . I want to see him in a damn Clips uni already

I wonder what Dunleavy's game plan will be. Ross on Melo is a given, but who'll be on JR Smith, the Cat or Shaun Livingston? Or when Kleiza is at the 2guard, will Dun go big to match him?

Talking Knowledge Clips fans know we have the Nuggets number

and it figures the Laker fans would again post misinformed thoughts
about this game..Mela was shut down by Q Ross last year during
the playoffs and expect more of the same from Q. Plus the
Clips matchup well with the Nuggets and will any game under
90 points like I expect this one to be.

What a game it wasand Clipper nation never gave up. Tim Thomas and Sam Cassell came up HUGE along with Ross' defense, everyone else just wasn't there.

elton needs more than 9 shots in 40 minutes!!!

i really like the end of game lineup the clippers use. you can tell the guys have confidence/swagger out there-- chalk it up to cassell's experience (despite the turnover in the last minute)

i enjoyed the game except for the inconsistent way the refs call these new fouls

i agree with the tnt guys--- there needs to be more leeway; warnings need to be given; it needs to be more consistent in what is called
