I understand we don't need to discuss things at some scientific level but at some base level you have to understand things like "the suns are not going to send Amare as a gift to the spurs at the detriment of their own team".
Suns would want young talent like Blair and Hill in this deal not just expirers.
I'm sure they have already tried but it seems unlikely that the spurs would want to trade great young talent that have already fit to their system for an expirer that will most likely be gone next season. The spurs are definitely not the type of organization that will break the bank just to get hyped-up athletes, all of their success have come in their incredibly successful farm system, easily the best in the nba.
