Why does he need sympathy because now after this season he may find getting a job harder than if it wasnt for this gun incident? Not only was he also at fault for this (funny how u excuse his stupidity) but his career up to this point hasnt been anything to talk about.

Case in point...if Crittendon didnt have this gun issue and was a free agent at the end of the season. The amount of teams who would court him wouldnt be that much different than the ones who will after all this. So again what is he losing? Not able to earn whatever money he was due too even tho chances are he wouldnt have earned it anyway given injury and the fact Wash has guards? Oh wait Gil would be done for the season opening up minutes for Crittendon to snatch. Again thats funny.

You can bash Gilbert for what he did but your argument "Feel sorry for Crittendon, Gilbert the jerk!" is below weak.

im not saying jarvaris is blameless at all, but more a victim of the situation than gilbert is, when gilbert more or less did everything to cause the whole situation to happen. again jarvaris is an idiot but its like a situation where someone punches you, you come back at him to scare him, and then you get the short end of the stick when the authorities get there. the f'ed up thing imo is gilbert isn't going to suffer nearly as much as jarvaris or the wizards.

Gilbert Arenas is rich as ****. He made tons before the Wiz deal. With absolutely NO implications that he spends his money unwisely (aside from buying guns ), how can you say he could go broke? Because he has a golden Desert Eagle that anyone with a little bit of cash could buy? Get out of here with that. How many NBA players do you know that have made that kind of money and went broke? Dude from the Celtics and that's it.

There was another article where he apparently says he doesn't want to be a Wizard anymore.

Also Sprewell...and Pippen may have lost quite a bit. That's who I remember off the top of my head. But according to the NBAPA, 60% go broke within 5 years. Again, Arenas may not be one, I don't know much about his finances beyond the money-wasting gun collection. But if he's dumb enough with his money it can happen. There is no sum of money that can't be thrown away.

Yeah, I forgot about Spree but never knew about Pippen. He could go broke...you're right. I don't think buying guns or a couple million dollar cribs is a good reasoning as to why, though. Oh well, I guess we will have to find out...
