Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Clinton Portis, Brian Westbrook.

I dont see it. Also whats the word on Albert PainNdaAssworth? Cant believe how big of a whiner he is about changing to 3-4.

Quote:
Interesting situation Washington has at the RB position, are they going to carry all 3 of those RB's into the season?

Shanny loves to run and rotate RBS. Keep in mind none of these Rbs are in thier primes. So its not like egos are gonna be bruised. LJ and Parker werent exactly the most coveted players in the league. So they have little room to complain about touches.

Clinton Portis is still a great RB in this league. He was in the early MVP conversation in 2008. He'll bounce back. Guy is always injured, though. If he can stay healthy I don't see why he won't get like 1250/8-9 TD's. He hasn't hit 30 yet!

Apparently, Haynesworth is just being a big baby. They should have traded his ass, but probably didn't get a good enough offer with that fat contract.

Portis isn't a great running back anymore. He's too slow, lost the burst that made him scary. Once that goes, you don't get it back.

I dont think its that fat anymore. Could be wrong, I recall an article that Wash is reluctant to trade him because they shelled out way too much guranteed millions to just get rid of him. Kinda want thier moneys worth from the guy. Could be wrong but thats what I read.

IIRC, I read that some teams didn't want to take that contract and that's why they passed on trading for him.

Jacksass would you even want the Skins to sign Westbrook?

I am not traying to smack talk, I am asking you a real question...

does this even feel like it is your team anymore???

I am not sure I would like that at all...although, I probably hated Owens more than any other player in the NFL, and that changed real quick...lol

still taht is far cry from a McNabb/Westbrook combo...along with al the other old vets there...seems a bit ridiculous imo...

It's all short term, though. Bring in a bunch of people and hopefully some can help out without being too expensive.

Winning record? I don't know. It depends on the line, Haynesworth, and if the offense can put points on the board.

Clinton has really only been injured long term in 2006 and last season. Dude is a warrior and even is he's knicked up I still fully expect him to play with his heart on his sleeve- as always.

CP 2-6 will play with vengeance this season. Not saying you aren't halfway correct in your assessments but Clinton has never been just a burner. The guy is a complete football player. There's a reason all the commentators like Aikman, Gruden, Madden love this guy as a football player.

YES. I'd say 9-7 is practical. 10-6 is we get the defense straight quickly and Shanny gets full potential out of our OL. Some very serious question marks but I LOVE where we are headed tbh
