Default How did Shaun Alexander make the All-Decade Team?

Didn't he have like 1.5 great seasons? Mainly due to that brick wall (Jones/Hutchinson) he had protecting him.

Because he was one of the most dominant RBs for more than half the decade and had one of the best seasons a RB has ever had.

alexander kind of gets the emmitt smith treatment because his playing style isn't flashy. his prime was as good as any running back in league history.

LT is the clear cut #1, after that it's between:

Alexander 2187-9453, 4.3, 100 TDs, 215-1520, 12 TDs
Portis 2176-9696, 4.5, 73 TDs, 242-1963, 5 TDs
Lewis 2542-10607, 4.2, 58 TDs, 221-1879, 4 TDs
James 2659-10693, 4.0, 80 TDs, 433-3364, 11 TDs

Alexander is either 2 or 3.

Why is Michael Irvin on there? Did Terrell Owens change his name to Michael Irvin?

RB is BS. Portis > Lewis

Wait, how in the hell did Zach Thomas get the nod over London Fletcher??? That sh!t makes no sense at all.

I'm wondering the same thing about Irvin. He freakin retired in 99. Maybe thats the wrong list, but it has everything else right. Maybe some idiot at NFL.com accidentally put Irvin in there instead of TO and forgot to add the FB (should've been Alstott, but you can't go wrong with Neal).

here's the real link. idk wtf the other link was

Can anyone explain Thomas over Fletcher?

Thomas: 1,181 tackles, 15 sacks, 9 INTs, 9 FF, 6 FR
Fletcher: 1,383 tackles, 27 sacks, 15 INTs, 12 FF, 9 FR

Wow I didnt even see Michael Irvin on that first link posted. lol Did a Cowboys fan change it? Didnt mean to shyt on Holt, but those 4 WRs are the best selections one could make.

Probably weighed in the actual team defense and felt Zach was a big part of why they were among the best.

Jamal was a big part of the Ravens offense and Clinton Portis benefitting from Denvers "OL" are 2 things that may have played a part. Only things i can think of. i'm taking Portis over Jamal Lewis myself without hesistation. Jamal did rush for over 2000yds. Add that to the list of reasons why. Eh
