Lookin' good man (no homo). Looks pretty effortless now. You're like the only regular in this section that can actually dunk.... lame. Are you doing any lifting, or just basketball?

On a side note... weird court, is that at your school?

Haven't squatted or done cleans in a while since my knee(s) have sorta been bothering me a bit now, just do yoga and hoop alot.

And nope this court is alot nicer than my school gym the coloring is just weird, its at this really nice country club thats about 100 meters from Tmacs house, well i don't know if its tmacs house anymore now that he is on the knicks.

What kind of weight were you squatting? If you could get to 2x bodyweight I bet you'd be throwing down two handers.

Also, you gonna get BC2 when it comes out?

I might get BC2. it comes out like march 20th right? and lol my squat was pretty pathetic, i don't think i really got over 185 (and i weigh a little over 160), and if i did it wasnt much. but that isnt a 1 rep max, i could do about 5-6 i think.

Well I think if we had more people that are 6'3 like Zak we would probably have more people dunking. That's not to take away any credit from you dude but that's jut the reality of it. The fact that you can dunk without having done much lifting is good... The fact that you can dunk off 2 feet without much lifting is very good. I'm telling you man get that squat up... I was such a shit athlete before I got my leg power up and now I'm respectable. It will feel amazingly effortless when you can squat over 300... should increase your vert by at least a couple inches.

I can attest to that. I've gained probably 3-4 inches on my vert by just doing light lifting 2 times a week for probably 3 months. I've gotten my squat up to 185 for 5 reps, so my vert should be amazing when my squats are up to double my body weight.
5'11, 155 lbs, 28-30ish inch vert

Yea i was liftin twice in a week and i didnt do any precise measurments but i would guess that i gained 1-2 inches but now i cant go cause i cant get a ride (step-dad gt a new job) so i havnt lifted in two weeks so im hopin it didnt diminish those two inches.

Oh and Zak way to get up boy!!!!!!! Im thinkin pretty soon you can prob start doin 1 handed tomohaks (height wise). I cant wait til i can dunk.

great dunk zak. What is the best dunk you can do? and nonsense 1manfastbreak, lilojmayo, and MannyQ can all dunk and i am probably forgetting a few. Lebronairjames might be able to. Unless they don't count as regulars. But with all the great advice in this section. on increase vertical where are all the dunkers at?

6'3 and throwing down, not as easy as Zak though but I can get up there if needed. Never did any jump programs/targetted weightlifting either. When I do that this summer I'll prolly get a bit higher.
