Hansborough is no better than Mcroberts and freddette is a prospect at most, He is a smaller less pass friendly jordan farmar.
McRoberts and this Hansbrough are completely different players and play different positions. The Hansbrough that this thread about is Ben Hansbrough, a 6'3" combo guard.
What are their respective ceilings? Two hardnosed whiteboys with the ability to takeover a game.
And how about Fredette's jaw? How does one get a jaw like that?
as of right now i only see fredette being a player like jj reddick
he can score at will in college but in the nba not so much
but i can't wait to see how he transitions in the nba
Hansbrough has no future in the league if that's what your asking but Fredette could become a Mark Price or Kyle Korver shooter type off the bench with a role
I'd regard Fredette just as I regarded Steph Curry. People are gonna say all type of stuff then be surprised when he's a great player.
He's wet... but it's his mental toughness that I admire the most. Gimme a player who can get 40 on a team with no other NBA talent... and lead them to a top ranking. How can you say that he won't translate to an NBA talent?

He's at least a lotto pick.

I agree. When he's feeling it he scores at will and he will only get better. I'm a Duke fan and I think Nolan Smith is playing great but I don't think anyone is as good of a candidate for player of the year as the Jimmer
If Fredette measures at a legit 6'2", though, he's bigger than House. He's already stronger than House. I know it's not against NBA level competition, but IMO, it looks like Fredette can be more effective at creating his own shot off the bounce and scoring in traffic.
Fredette doesn't have much upside actually. He's a pretty complete player right now. What you see is what you're going to get. There's room for improvement like any other player but his upside definitely isn't "huge."
