Oden is a special player. He's a gifted athlete that loves to learn and get better. He doesn't have a plethora of low post moves, but he isvery quick and athletic. He also has a very soft touch around the basket. Most importantly, he is a great defender. He'll easily be one of the best big men in college basketball next season.
I've seen him play a few times. When he's focused, he is really good on the defensive end of the floor. He needs to develop a low post game, but all high school players do. If he works hard and continues learning, he will be a great NBA center.
I expect him to put up 17/9-ish, at least, his freshmen year, and I believe the other tOSU recruits are underrated, but they won't go far due to Wisconsin's Tucker exposing them, the Illinois powerhouses, or the return of DJ White. Well, they'll probably come out on top in B10 but not enough experience to proceed in tourney. Just my predictions.
In the NBA, I see a better version of Kwame Brown putting up prime Vin Baker-ish stats overall + more blox.
