Default Jordan Hill?

what you guys think?

I think this is the gamble of the trade that might make it worth losing Landry.

I have not seen much of this guy, but i see a guy that shoots outside too much, he will have to play inside and out to play with yao.

I love the way he works on the boards. In the few games i saw him with the Knicks he was one of the most active bigs when he was in. I love this in him.

he could potentially be he starter in 2-3 years, but i htink his ceiling is about 15 and 10.

anyone else notice anything else about this guy?

He's raw, extremely raw.. He probably won't get much PT on the rockets right now since Houston is fighting for the playoffs but he has potential.

Strengths:
Good rebounder/active on offensive boards
pretty good size Size
decent shot blocker
showed he can guard the quicker players, ok defense
Pretty athletic
Decent jumpshot

Weakness:
Raw
Has no offense post game, he can't score in the post
commits alot of stupid fouls
Doesn't try on offense and just stands there
He seems unmotivated and unwilling to get better, seems like a good guy though
No offensive game

He hasn't played much for us but he showed some flashes of a good player. Dantoni never really played him much at all in the beginning of the season and never used him properly.

I hope Jordan Hill can become one of those type of bigs who comes off the bench and give you nothing but hustle especially on the offensive boards, ala Gortat. Dude has the athleticism and the size....he was beasting the last few games he played for Houston. So lets hope he can polish his game a little better and improve his defense.

his ceiling is WAY higher than gortat.....

i would rather see him turn into a varejao, and that is just for the next year or so....

his ceiling is a top 15 pf in the league (after a few years)
