Maybe after the real draft. Could we make it where you're allowed to retain 3-5 players from your franchise? I know that could get hairy and it'd be tough to figure out certain players and what team they are associated with, but you could m the Colts do you keep Manake a rule where a player had to play 5+ seasons for your team.

I'm down for whatever, though.

WRONG

How can Moss be better than arguably the BEST football player ever. And notice I said football player and not wide receiver.

Jim Brown is the greatest football player ever and Moss in his prime was more dominate than Rice ever was...

Moss can make QBs like Culpepper and a 40 year old Cunningham look like they are probowlers...but they just launched it deep and let Moss do the rest...

"Terrell Owens is the most physically gifted WR the Dallas Cowboys have ever had"

-Jerry Jones

and he is right...Owens is a first ballot HOFer who in his prime was a COMPLETE FREAK....

if Owens just had Fitz's hands, he would be the most complete WR the NFL has ever seen....

Raw talent isn't shit. It's what you do with it. What records could he pass? He's not touching his receptions, yards or TDs.

what do you mean raw talent isn't shit?...that makes no sense...it is a MUST HAVE in the NFL...

Moss needs exactly 50 more TDs to break Rice's TD record...he could do it...he is 33 now...if he plays another 5 years then he would just need 10 TDs each year...

he had 13 last year...

11 the year before that with Cassell

and then 23 the year before that...(NFL record, obviously he did do something with his talent)

the recieving yardage does look out of range for Moss at this point though...

Rice retired at age 42...

let's also keep their teams in to perspective...Rice had Montana and Young, two of the greatest EVER...

Moss had to make shit work with Cunningham and Culpepper...and then THE RAIDAAAAHZZZ...and then a year of Cassell

when he had Brady for one good year???...look what happens

Having talent alone isn't great. You have to actually do something with it.

You sure he can put up 10 TDs a year in his mid 30s? All it takes is one injury or time catching up with him or him getting lazier.

Rice had 22 TDs in a 12 game season.

I'm not calling you out to disagree with you, but you have to see where primetime is coming from. Rice was very talented, but he also had the good fortune of staying healthy into his mid-30s. There is something to be said about that, as well, but that doesn't necessarily mean Rice was ever more physically talented and gifted than Moss was in his prime. Prime Moss was a freak of nature: 6'4", 4.4 speed, great leaper, impossible to defend. It's hard to argue that Moss isn't the most physically gifted WR of all-time. And he put up some big numbers with some decent, but not great QBs. He played with an old Randall Cunningham, and since Culpepper turned into garbage as soon as he stopped having Moss to throw to, it's safe to say moss might have made Cunningham look a lot better than he really was.
