Default Opinions on my team

14 team head to head custom yahoo league with 9 standard scoring catagories (FG%, FT%, Points, 3's, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals, TO's). U start 4 G's, 4 F's,1 C, 2 Util, & have 3 bench spots.

G- Vince Carter (G/F)
G- Baron Davis
G- Josh Howard (G/F) *Out 2 weeks
G- Ricky Davis (G/F)
F- Kevin Garnett
F- Rashard Lewis
F- Chris Webber
F- Grant Hill
C- Eddy Curry
Util- Nenad Krstic (F/C)
Util- Jarrett Jack
Bench- JR Smith (G)
Bench- Bonzi Wells (G)
Bench- Francisco Elson (C)

Went 8-1 the first week, only losing in turnovers. After tonight I should be up 5-3 for this week, trailing in FG%, FT%, & turnovers. With Howard out for a couple of weeks, Wells not getting any playing time, & JR Smith only getting around 10 minutes vs the T-Wolves, I need to shore up my guard position. I'm kind of getting tired of waiting on Wells, & JR Smith went for 21 pts one night and then was basically absent from the next game. Some of the notable FA G's are:

- Mickael Pietrus (waivers, priority is at 12 right now)
- Carlos Arroyo
- Thabo Sefolosha
- John Salmons
- Keyon Dooling
- Marquis Daniels
- Marcus Banks
- Flip Murray
- Michael Finley
- Mo Evans
- DeShawn Stevenson
- Desmond Mason
- Rajon Rondo

Being in a deeper league, it's obviously not the deepest list of FA guards you'll ever see. I'm gonna see what JR Smith does tomorrow night before I think about letting him go, but what should I do with Wells? Wait for him to get into the Rockets regular rotation or dump him? I'm thinking that since the FA pool isn't that great that I may stay with Wells/Smith for a while as long as i'm winning. Anyone have an opinion on what I should do??

*Also, Marvin Williams is sitting there. How long do I let him sit there before I think about picking him up? My team is pretty strong, I could maybe afford to wait for him to get back once Howard returns.

Desmond Mason nearly had a double double last night (14 & 9 I think) if that is any sign of things to come..

Hard to say.. you have a solid team, Arroyo a guy to look at if he takes over as the started, salmons will put up ok numbers with increased playing time while miller is out and kings go small ball..
arroyo and d.mason probly best of the FA's, but JR is a tough call right now.
I'd stick with what you got for a little bit.
Care to comment on my team, next post down?
