Utah is gonna have to make a decision. You gotta double Melo and make other guys beat you. Did they learn nothing from playing Kobe one-on-one the last 2 playoffs?

No Ak47 means they have no chance to guard Melo and thus no chance of winning series.

I don't see how AK would make much of a difference. Melo is on a different level right now with that jumpshot and he's basically unguardable if he's making it..

Utah has 0 chance. They're terrible at double teaming and have absolutely noone to guard the small forward position. The series is over unless AK 47 makes a miraculous comeback.

Dude, we played MJ "straight up" in the playoffs.. haha, if we decide to double, it would be minimally at best.
I can't be TOO mad because Melo and JR beat us strictly with jumpshots, and despite how talented they are, they can't win series like that. So i'm hoping the Jazz are able to continue to execute, and are able to change some things up defensively.

I still say Jazz in 6 or Denver in 7 though. It all depends on how game 2 goes.. One thing's for sure though, you guys will NOT beat us or eliminate us on our home court.. Just not happening.

AK would deff help the Jazz out defensively on Melo for the series but tonight wouldn't have made that much of a difference. Melo's shot was falling and it's not like Matters\Miles didn't have a hand in his face. AK isn't stopping those ridiculous finishes either. Melo was just on fire tonight. But It's going to really hurt for future games.

Exactly. And AK has never been a big factor one on one with Melo, he's been helpful in help situations and coming over and blocking drives.

Well Melo didn't really drive much tonight, and even if they decided to double...he made quick decisions and wasn't looking to get to the rim all that much in order to beat help

Ah, all the people overreacting. I remember the first time I saw the first game of a playoff series...

Wait till this series gets to Utah bc Denver will falter on the road IMO.

I agree with you as Utah had no chance tonight. Everything was falling for Denver.

The series is done unless JR/Melo get jumpshot happy which they shouldn't but you never know with Dantley's dumbass coaching.

How are people overreacting? Denver just won the first game and It's not like people are acting like the series is over

I'd like to see the stats for how the series plays out for the team that wins the first game. I'd wajor it's pretty big.
