I'm going to say Spurs take this in 6, I still don't consider the Mavericks real contenders. They are still basically nothing minus Dirk Nowitzki and you can't win and you definitely cannot win in the West if you are a one-man show....I wouldn't call it an upset if either win though.

I like the Spurs in 6 too. I think Timmy has a big post-season, and Parker destroys Kidd off the dribble. Timmy vs Dirk? OH YEAHHH

Mavs in 5. Spurs depth is the crapper. Dirk plays motivated against the Spurs, Tim Duncan can't guard him. No one on the Spurs can come close. Tony Parker sucks. Jefferson is horrible. Should be a quick exit for the Spurs. Of all the teams for the Spurs to play they match up horribly with the Mavs. They would have had better luck with the Lakers.

Dallas has too many legs for San Antonio. Im sorry but Manu having to shoulder the series damn near himself isnt going to be enough. First round exit for Spurs this time around.

im a spurs fan...but i know its gonna be really difficult to win this series....we would have had better luck with the Lakers...its true....dallas was the worst option...and duncan is not the same....

i expect at least 6 games...and a good battle...

Very close series, the Spurs of late played really good basketball.
Dirk will need an outstanding series to advance to 2nd round.


If Pop plays like last year (5 Spurs on 1 Mav) it will be a short series.

As well as the Spurs have played, the Mavericks are the better team. They play both sides of the ball, and Haywood's length will give Duncan problems inside. However, Popovich choosing to go small could make this series really interesting. Duncan-Jefferson-Ginobili-Hill-Parker would give the Mavs a lot of trouble.
