You do realize one of the big reasons game 7 of 2006 went to OT was because the refs kept the spurs in the game with fts right?

The offiaciating was a little lop sided but, the Spurs coulda pulled it out if it we'rent for all those TOs!

Dirk can go off for 40 if he wants, all the Spurs havta do is hold his supporting cast in check, which they did...but those damn TURNOVERS!!!

Manu & especially Tim down low didnt get those favorable calls, C'MON!!
But still found a way to stay in the game by shootin a better % than the Mavs!!!
Im not pissed anymore, I cant wait for game 2!!!

Are guys here really saying Dirk is reffed unfairly in favor of HIM? Didn't see the game last night, but usually refs let Dirk be manhandled by his defenders and call only half the fouls on him.

Also, when you have no one who can defend Dirk, you shouldn't be surprised if he goes off on you and he he gets his calls.

The reason why I belive the Spurs fans is hating is that the small guards got caught playing illegal defense. Like 2 hands in Dirk's back and small things. Players play a lot harder in the playoff and get away with it, I agree. It's kind of hard to judge the illegal defense fouls Dirk got, becaus there was not replay and the camera angel did not really show where the foul was happening. Atleast with the fouls I felt was a bit off.

so its your contention that the series was rigged because dirk shot 96 fts? Automatically if someone shoots more fts, the series is rigged in their favor? Would you be interested to know that duncan shot 90 fts in that series? Would you also be interested to know that dirk shot 82 fts, not 96? So duncan actually shot more fts than dirk. Duncan also had more fts than dirk in games 1, 3,5,6 and 7. So dirk shot more Fts than duncan twice. Also, the mavs shot 223 fts total in the series. The spurs shot 235. The spurs outshot the mavs in fts in games 1, 5,6 and 7. Both teams shot 32 fts in game 4. So again the mavs only shot more fts in 2 games but yeah that series was rigged due to how many fts the mavs shot.... It sounds like based on your arguments, you should be giving the mavs major props for beating the spurs despite the biased officiating against the mavs, not harping that the mavs only beat the spurs based on the officiating favoring the mavs.

BRILLIANT!

The one from Zoolander where he says its a mystery about Dirk getting FTs when he only shoots fade aways came right after a replay clearly showed Dirk getting hit on the arm.

Yea, Bruce f-ing Bowen when defending Dirk was NEVER allowed to clutch, grab, hack, or slide under his ankles after a shot. Never!

Im also wondering where the hell you got 96 fts from. Did you just make it up or are you THAT bad at math that you think 8 + 7 + 24 + 15 + 4 + 8 + 16=96?

LMFAO, talk about getting crushed. Complaining about Dirk getting 96 FT's when the number is wrong and TD actually shot more.

It's hilarious to see Spurs fans complaining about refs when over the years they have gotten an enormous amount of breaks and favourable calling. It would be great to see them get bounced again by the Mavs in 5.
