Should be Mavs in 5 or 6. If this series go 7 games, which it shouldn't, then I like SA.

There are games where Butler shoots them out of games. So that's not really a good thing.

Mavs in 5. This could possibly be more embarrassing than last year.

Of course, Ginobili, McDyess and Jefferson only make their team worse.

Last year was basically Tony Parker and Tim Duncan vs. the Mavs.

It will be enjoyable to watch Manu nail daggers in the Mavs back every game and Blair to get 20/20 vs the soft Mavs frontcourt

thats not really true.

dude only averages 13 shots a game at 44% with the Mavs. He has upped his 3 point shooting to 34% in Dallas.

One loss was the first game after the trade vs OKC when they hadn't even had a practice and while he shot poorly, the rest of the team was a pitiful 32% so it would be silly to blame him.

in 3 of the 7 Mavs losses he shot just 11 (OKC) , 6 (NY) and 4 (Orlando) times.

vs Portland he was 11/19 for and easily the best player on the court for the Mavs as everyone else stunk it up.

The other two losses he was 5/13 (NO) and 3/14 (Boston) but those games were clearly lost on the defensive end.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/player...?playerId=1705

its not like he is forcing shots all over the place.

Would love to see that from Blair but, sadly he wont be given the minutes for a 20/20 game!

I just want the series to start already. I'm hyped up and am growing tired of predictions...

For the comment in this thread, "Mavs beat the Spurs without Marion and Butler twice", what about the Spurs beating the Mavs without TIM DUNCAN and TONY PARKER even playing?

What about holding the MAVS to 96 points on 41.2 FG% (about 6 points and 5.3% less than their season averages) in the final game of the season... without TIM DUNCAN and MANU GINOBILI and HILL-for-3 quarters?

I'd say the Mavs are the "sexier" and maybe "safer" pick, but I question how many of you guys have actually watched the Spurs in the last two months, versus just basing your predictions on last season's Spurs or previous match ups between these two. I really hope the Mavs take the Spurs as lightly as some of you are, it will come back to bite them.
