Those two calls were HUGE
Melo stepped out on the baseline earlier as well, and there was no call. It goes both ways.

What can I say? Melo is just a nutcase. He isn't a skilled player and lacks the driving ability unless he is taking risk by bulldozing his way to the basket which is what he did every possession, and hence the offensive fouls. All of the offensive fouls were LEGIT and he should of been fouled out much earlier in the game.

Melo just isn't skilled. His game is not smooth or fluid. Paul Pierce more skilled than this clown. Jazz taking Game 3 and if they take Game 4, holla Denver.

It was a rare game where his jumpshot was off. The defense knew what he was going to do with the ball as soon as he got it. He was still able to get the foul line and had the highest +/- on the team.

"Melo isn't skilled"? After what he did in Game 1?
Let's see how the Nuggets respond before you leap to false conclusions.

i think people are making too much a deal of utah players being out. its the system that makes them so efficient. im sorry but there are many players you can plug in and they will still be good, provided they still have D-will at the point of course.

With Okur and AK out, and Boozer sorta injured, it is hard to get excited about much of the playoffs. Bummed out.

Okur being out is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. The bummer is that they signed him to a huge extention instead of using his expiring contract.

Quote:
We'll see if he sticks with us on his next contract.

Doubt it. He wants to win. He's not happy that they're giving talent away.

Quote:
Maybe we'll get lucky with NY's 8th pick and get a pair of HOFers together.

Maybe if they trade it like they should.

Quote:
sooner or later a team has to come back from 0-3 why not the Jazz?

Jerry? Price?

Quote:
the only advantage denver has is utah is missing ak and okur

Sloan and Price are advantages for them as well.

Utah out coaches a lot of teams.

LOL! Who? PJ Caleisimo?

Quote:
Fisher did lie to the Jazz saying he would sign with the Knicks because he daughter was getting care in NYC.

She is still getting care in NYC but he is playing further away in LA.

Who cares? That was a good thing losing his contract and Sloan's love of the guy.

It is pretty obvious Derrick Rose is now better than Carmelo Anthony. so is durant.

And many others. He's a great scorer not one of the greats in the game.

Quote:
Melo should have fouled out. He had 4 offensive fouls. Of those 4, only 1 was legit. Thats the kind of respect he gets.

He started for the Dream Team and is always talked about with the top players. He gets a lot more respect than he deserves.

fesenko>okur...just saying

Not saying much. Koufos is better than both of them is the sad part.

That was one hell of a game. I was so happy that Utah won. A bunch of scrappy no names with big hearts beat a bunch of thugs, I'm optimistic for Utah's chances and, should the Lakers go down, I'd like to see Utah win it all. Second favorite team right now. Just sucks Okur is out, he's one of my favorite players.
