Re: Official Thread: OKC at LAL, 10:30 PM EST, Round 1, Game 2
If the Lakers want to win the series, they have to go into Gasol and Bynum every single time down the floor. Punish the Thunder inside. Collectively, the Lakers have a very high basketball IQ, swing the ball and beat the post players who are fronting.
If Kobe continues to shoot this poorly, the Lakers should think about putting him at SF and having him defend Durant. He can play D when he wants to, and having Brown and Farmar at the guard positions would give the team more speed and athleticism.

Durant's shot is really on. Unfortunately for this board it means the return of joyner. Oh well, it was a nice couple of days, and at least it's enjoyable watching him. I like watching shooters.

He's going to need 40 shots to get there.
Please just feed Bynum in the second half. Gasol and Kobe are getting their shit swatted every rip Bynum is longer than all those MF's they can't guard him.

he's not a good ball handler, if he tries it, Artest will pick his pockets all day. I liked what Durant said before the half, Lakers have big guys in the Paint, but OKC are long and Athletic, thats how they are getting those blocks.

Well, yeah, of course he's not done. He's injured, plain and simple. Problem is that his decision making is hurting the team. He's BLATANTLY frustrated that his body isn't responding, and he's forcing the issue. Calm down, trust your teammates, play defense, and see if the so called talent can help you win.

Kobe can't magically fix his finger.
Kobe has 16 shots though .. it has nothing to do with the rest stepping up, they gotta watch Kobe trying to score instead of getting the ball in the post.
When Kobe sat for 5 minutes they played inside out game and got a big lead

It's called being a Lakers fan over a Kobe fan. Lakers fans care about THE TEAM-not kobe's personal glory-when Kobe is playing horrible he needs to let his ego go AND FEED BYNUM AND GASOL.
Kobe has games like this because his ego hates Bynum and Gasol getting credit for Laker wins.
Yes when Kobe shoots us out of games I get pissed at him. 15 shots for 14 points. Imagine if Fisher or Farmar or Artest or Brown did that. You'd be pissed as ****. Because Im a Lakers fan, and not a Kobe ******ger fake laker fan im not afraid to call him out

Right, those were the people I was referring to. He's not playing smart at all, but it's sickening to see these dude's who used to be in love with him saying "he's not even good anymore, he's old and washed up, he's done". Okay then, stop watching. You were never a fan of the Lakers in the first place.

The dude is scary good. Give him a couple more years and he's borderline unstoppable. Once the mental aspect of the game clicks on the league might as well give up.
