Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
I was at the game last night five rows from the court....every time Larry Hughes touched the ball i yelled "SHOOT IT!!" "YOU GOT THIS ONE!" "ALL DAY!!"
Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
Garbage game. The referees were just terrible for both teams but the loss is still on Charlotte. They didn't seem to take anything from Game 1. Shame, I really thought they could have stole this one or at least put up a better fight. Hopfully, things will be better at home.
Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
I would have liked being at the game today. Seems like it will end in dramatic fashion. I think it goes without saying we need to pull a rabbit out the hat tonight and give Orlando a taste of their own magic, or else our magical season comes to an end. If a team is built to come back down 0-3, it's surely not the 2010 'Cats against the superlative 2010 Magic.
I'm rather shocked Cleveland lost one to Chicago; the same team who barely made the playoffs. Boston is spanking Miami. ATL is doing well as expected whereas Milwaukee is playing up to playoff worthy expectations, but Orlando is really the only team IMO to take the Cavs to a Game 7, and also IMO the only team who could possibly win a Game 7 on the road to reach the Finals.
Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
Here's a good question to throw out there to you guys in this thread. Better coach, SVG or Larry B.? In terms of style, methodology, philosophy, etc - couldn't be anymore different. Larry is the more historical success legend, whereas SVG is today considered amongst the best of the best (not saying LB isn't, but it goes without saying his stock value today isn't what it used to be, especially after his experiment with the Knicks).
So, who you got? Not necessarily coaching our 'Cats, but just in general.
Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
In sheer amazement the zebras actually allow the magical superstar D-How to hit the showers early by process of elimination. He was playing aggressive yes, but he was roughing up a bit too much for the refs to ignore.
Without their best player, and with the 'Cats playing very intense, highly inspired basketball, we're still down with only a couple minutes to do. Yikes, even if we win tonight an uphill battle is an understatement if we're talking about us advancing to the next round.
Re: Round 1, Game 2, April 21: Charlotte Bobcats (0-1) @ Orlando Magic (1-0)
Captain~Jack had a decent look. Can't say I disagree with the play but we were only down 2, but realize the time left on the clock may have been a factor.
I'm not happy with the outcome, but we played one hell of a game for 3 and a half quarters. We normally closed games well at home this season, but had issues on the road, and most certainly here in the post season (playing a much more elite team or not).
This will make for great experience going into next season. We can learn from this franchise first playoff series. As the old season goes, you have to crawl before you walk. We Bobcat fans have been this patient thus far, no need for us now to start going apeshit b/c we played a lackluster series after proving ourselves in the regular season.
