he'll have all day to throw behind that line...

Gore, Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree nice weapons as well... he just has to be efficient, i don't like alex smith, never have, but all he has to do is be efficient and consistently average.

You can tell Singletary wants to pound the rock on the ground. He got two good young O-Lineman and Bynum who is a really good blocking TE. Adding Bowman and Mays improves the defense too. He is setting up the good old reliable formula of running the ball and playing defense.

You happy with the Gerhart selection? I think they gave up a lot to move up, but pairing him with Peterson is amazing. The Bears, Packers and Lions' defenses all groaned the moment Gerhart's name was announced.

Gerhart yeah I hear Alstott comparisons so can't be mad at that. Another weapon for the crazy offense they already have.

Also got some crazy athletic wildcat QB Webb or something in the 6th round, good stuff. I'm happy with the draft but I'll be mad if Patrick Robinson turns out to be significantly better than Chris Cook.

The Gerhart/Alstott comparisions aren't legit, at all. The ONLY comparable thing is they're both white, and they're both strong. Gerhart has a totally different running style. He's more like a Brandon Jacobs/Laron McClain type runner.

yessir

i think he will get the best out of taylor mays as well. theres a reason vernon davis broke out last year after consistently putting up garbage 400/3 seasons he went for what 1200/13? singletary is great at coaching up his players... his tactical ways may not be the strongest but he is one hell of a motivator.

The Colts signed Brandon James as an UDFA. I really like that. He could be a threat as a KR/PR. Lots of speed.

I think you stated the biggest reasons he fell into the second round. Griffen has top 10-15 talent but his work ethic has been a huge question mark. He can be a stud if he harnesses his talent and is a hard worker.

Everson Griffen fell farthe than the 2nd round. I think Minn took him in the 5th round.

Blount had initially agreed with the Niners, but changed his mind after talking to Titans coach Jeff Fisher on Sunday, according to The (Nashville) Tennessean. Since he had not signed a contract, he was free to change his mind.

"I'm not sure quite what happened, but I think it kind of fell in our lap a little bit," Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt told "The Wake Up Zone" on 104.5 FM in Nashville.

"He's a different kind of halfback than the running backs we have and I think the opportunity is probably better here than it was in San Francisco," Reinfeldt said, noting the Niners have Frank Gore and Glen Coffee on the roster and took Anthony Dixon of Mississippi State in the draft. "They have three kind of power halfbacks. [Blount's] a different dimension for us."

Wow, with Lendale gone he could easily make the team with a good showing.
