North Carolina rapper Petey Pablo currently serving a sentence, behind bars ATM.
I was just reading some various things online, and happen to come across an article that mentioned one-hit-wonder (NORTH CAROLINA! - COME ON AND RAISE UP^! TAKE YA SHIRT OFF, SPIN IT AROUND LIKE A HELICOPTER!" - haha) Petey Pablo, is serving a three year sentence for attempting to transport a 9mm handgun on a US Airways flight.
Granted, I haven't followed this guy in awhile, but I was completely oblivious to this. Was anybody else aware of this ordeal or have any other information about why he was moronic enough to even consider such a risk?
While we're on the subject of Petey Pablo, revisiting his debut album, whether or not you admit it, Raise Up was dope, but what your opinion of "I" feat. Timberland?

Why, because you're "technically" making the argument "Freak-A-Leak" is a smash hit?
You get the gist of what I was getting at.
LOL, oh wait, wait! You're being sarcastic saying he never even had a "hit" in the first place. Well, I'd make the case he's sold over a million records in his career, and while that isn't anything truly remarkable, it's an accomplishment nonetheless, especially considering I've already made the acknowledgment he's a one-hit-wonder (which is considered an insult).

If he's been so "relevant" with these "Top 15" on the Billboard or whatnot, why is the dude practically bankrupt and generally forgotten in this rap game?
It might not be a textbook definition of a one-hit-wonder, but it certainly fits my own personal classification.

You are completely ignoring the words in the phrase one hit wonder but like I said, we've reached an understanding that he was once relevant for about 4 years and then disappeared off the face of the earth and apparently according you he's nearing bankruptcy. So it's cool.
A lot of entertainers think the money is going to last forever and don't realize that unlike other fiscally responsible average people they have to save for more than just a rainy day, their careers aren't guaranteed tomorrow. It's sad but it happens all the time.

Congrats on the bobcats winning tonight.
Yeah the 'Cats are not doing too bad thus far this season. As optimistic as I'd like to be, we'll be the equivalent of the "one hit wonder" (meaning we'll be successful in the beginning like we are thus far, but ultimately tank),
