Yeah Caron didn't do jack sh!t when he was in the game. I don't blame Rick for not playing him down the stretch. I blame the Mavs for not being able to capitalize on that big 19-2 run and hold the 9 point lead and continuously bricking every damn shot in the 4th.

Glad to see Tony steppin up late. That's a good sign. This is gonna be a great series, I love it when these two teams step on the court together. Can't wait for game four.

Nice win! Kinda lucky IMO. Parker was not suppose to hit those shots. Im really surprised he did.

Manu is the man! Didnt even let the med team check his nose and told them to look at it after the game.

True, although I fully expect everyone to lay the blame on Dirk if the Mavs fail to win the series. Game 4 is crucial for the Mavs, it's do or die. If they lose, that's it.

Man what a great great game. I expected the Spurs to win this one but I think Dallas will get game number 4. This are what the playoffs are all about.

That's fine, but when the game is close at the end, you bring in your best players and trust them to close.

Caron can create for himself and would also get respect from the refs in cruchtime. Mavs CANNOT win this series without him and I see no use in embarrassing the guy like this. Rick came off as arrogant and looking to make Caron a scapegoat. I don't like it!

Very poor coaching on Carlisle's part. I don't care how poorly Butler has played, you cannot play Kidd, Barea, Terry and Nowitzki for the ENTIRE 2ND HALF and expect them not to be a bit gassed in the 4th, which is probably why the sputtered out at the end of the game.

Not to mention, the physical and emotional toll that a hard fought loss like that will put on them, will they have anything left in the tank on Sunday, which essentially if they lose, SERIES OVER.

As a coach myself, I'm very analytical of every coaching move. I understand the idea of going with chemistry and team that was working well together, but not for 24 straight minutes in that kind of physical game.

Maybe Cuban instructed Carlisle to bench Butler. This has to kill Butler emotionally

Like i said earlier I missed the first half but I think it makes no sense to not play your best players down the stretch. Maybe in the regular season but this is the playoffs, how many times has any big time player had a bad game only to come up big when it counts? That's why they make so much money.

As a spurs fan id rather see caron btler than jj. I dunno. Something in him scares the hell outta me. He is a great competitor and will do anything to him. You cant blame carlisle for giving him the minutes, since clearly he deserved it.

What the mavs didnt do right IMO is the 3 guard lineup. Terry, barea and kidd. That lineup was a big liability at the defensive end. Unfortunately for them they didnt makeup for it in offense.
