Florida is still ahead of Texas in the BCS rankings.

Texas is not going unless Florida loses. They already had their chance and got beat convincenly at home.

other problem is if Michigan loses then Texas & Michigan both have 1 loss to Ohio State but the difference is Texas lost at home so that's technically worse... the BCS would be really screwed up if Florid and USC lost another game

really dont wanna see a rematch between Michigan and Ohio State for the NC

that would be so lame

We are so freakin pathetic. A bunch of us were studying in a classroom for a test we have tomorrow, and we had the PC on with it on ESPN and watching the plays live, and we were just cheering on Rutgers. We just wanted Rutgers to win so badly.

We want Texas defending the title.

The only way Texas gets in is if:

Ohio States def. MIchagan

AND

Florida Loses

AND

Auburn Loses

I don't see how they can justify taking Texas over Ohio State even if MIchigan beats Ohio States since Ohio States had already trashed Texas. Florida/Auburn, IMO is the most deserving x-1 team to get in since they are playing in by far the toughest division in the nation, while the BIg 12 may be the weakest big conference this year.

if Rutgers wins out they deserve to be in the title game. period.

the only reason they arent even in the top 10 yet is b/c they didnt start out ranked and past history.

The BCS and Bowl system has always and will always be a sham.

Until college football gets a playoff there will NEVER be legit title games.

Thats just the way it is. Rutger is too far behind the computer polls to catch up to the x-1 teams. West Verginia had a shot and Luiville also had it, but Rutger is just a bit too far behind. Thats the BCS for you.

The entire college season is the playoffs.

There is an argument for an undefeated team, but then undefeated teams have missed out before.

Personally I think the Big East is weak. They only had eleven players drafted last year in the NFL draft (out of 224). There just isn't the talent there, and if Big East coaches really want to win they should take on Big Ten or SEC teams in non-conference games to sure up their chances.

Rutgers is not a national championship caliber squad

who was on rutgers non-conference schedule?

If usc wins out, i think they will go because Cal, Oregon, And Notre Dame will greatly increase their SOS, but i dont think they win out. Does cal hve chnce if they beat usc? they only have one loss right?

i also wish if rutgers win out they could play in nc game but i doubt they will...i dont see why they cant get rid of the extra game they just added and cant have a 4 team playoff with every undefeted team in top 10 in bcs plus top top bcs teams playing out

have one bcs game and the nationial championship be together somewhere

then one semi game played somewhere

then one semi game played somewhere

then one regular bcs played somewhere and rotate the schedule every year

Not that much of a difference in what there is now

they dont want a 4 team playoff because the controversey between team #4 and #5 is much more than 2 and 3, so a small playoff would create more controversy. A 8 or 12 team plyoff is more likley, even though cutting the last few teams would be a tough decesion.

are you kidding me a 8 or 12 team playoff is more likely...def not...too many extra games and too much time

number 4 and 5 team would be alot less controversey than 2 and 3 are you kidding me...if your not good enough to be in top 4 or undefeted you shouldnt make it
