The Hawks should sign and trade Joe Johnson this summer and get some young talent or draft picks in return. Then, they should look to see if they can move Marvin Williams...... Some team should probably also take Josh Smith. A team would probably take him because a team will probably think they can make him work as a 4 when in fact he does NOT work as a 4. The problem is he can't shoot and his post up game is weak. His rebounding is average at best. He clearly is not worthy of his contract.

After that, you find out what Al Horford wants for a new contract. If it's more than 7 or 8 million dollars you trade him also. You can't pay 10+ plus to role players and expect to build a title contender when you will not go over the cap. You simply can't do it.
