but in the playoffs it's different, you have to hate the other team, you have to want to see them bleed you have to want to see them reduced to wimpering idgits because you demoralized them...

behind magic johnsons smile was an assasin, behind mj's glare was hatred bird made you his enemy etc etc...
lebron i just get the feeling he expects awe to take place because he's the chosen one, not because he because he actually strikes fear into them.. but that's just my view and it's certainly something that will develop when he wants it bad enough

alrdy said before; he needs a father figure kind of coach ala phil jackson. Kobe and jordan became the greatest only cause they had phil by their side as a mentor. The guy's a ****ing psychologist.

Are we all in agreement that Lebron simply decided to quit on his team games 5 and 6?

that wouldn't hurt but he has to be ready for it... for every mj and kobe jackson has coached there's a few kwame browns and brian cooks... phil can only mold the the final product, the ingredients have to be in place before he comes along.... lebron has to need to be that guy that teams fear, if he wants it thats not enough he has to need to be that guy

He never gave up agianst orlando. He dropped like 40 pts and his team was doing noting. How did he give up?? He was still shooting and stuff. Giving up is wat Kobe did in 06 and not try.

that theory of stepping up when its a big game or stepping up in the playoffs isnt real. you either have it or you dont, you just cant turn it on.

lebron had two bad games at the wrong time is all. you hit or you miss. all players do it. superstars hit most of the time and miss the other . all other great players have done the same

This is like "moon landings never happened" level denial.

why am I an idiot? excellent rebuttal too.

Lebron has no killer instinct as some have alluded to already. It's what currently seperates him from Kobe. Until he learns or develops a killer instinct or a winning mentality, he should NEVER be on the same pedestal as KB. He's got a LONG LONG way to go before he ever develops it, judging on his past couple of performances. KB will never quit on his team in the same way LBJ did.

Give me a winner over a regular season player anyday

There was something Wrong with Elbow..LBJ never let on on to how bad but did say after gm Tonight that "it did limit him some" but he doesn't want to use that as an Excuse. I also Read yesterday that some "Source" close to Situation said there may be a Slight Tear of Ligament and at Least a Strained Ligament and Bone Bruise.

i'm convinced that LBJ injury is serious
and when a suprestar get such injury, franchises and injured players would hide it to last moment for many reasons :
1- spirit boost and psychological effects
(no way the cavs will release news like this in playoffs time.)
2- questionable future (is he going to be the same Lebron after sergery).
3- less playing time and games. which leads to >>
4- player/team/nba/media will some $ .

that been said i'm also convinced that even if LBJ was 100% healthy,
he wouldn't win the title.

Lebron brought nothing. No offense, and little defense. His supporting cast brought little aswell, mo never found his stroke, anthony parker hit like two 3's, his usual, antwan was cold and inconsistent as usual, shaq played like always, and delonte was almost non-existent. Celtics, despite being an old team, brought unstoppable defense forcing cavs to turn over the ball almost everytime. The better team won, fair and simple. Cavs are a good team, but didn't do so hot in the second round.
