Yeah, I'm seeing and feeling slight results after a month, so maybe if I continue for a year, the results will feel more noticable. I've also been doing a bit of weight lifting for my biceps and triceps which i've definitely noticed more than my aerobic activity though.

It's purely cosmetic though so its not nearly as important as you seem to believe it is.
